Drilling Division

Our expanding drilling division currently consists of nine custom truck and track mount rigs working full time on geothermal projects. We have drilled and installed hundreds of thousands of feet of vertical open and closed loops. Our IGSHPA certified drillers use state of the art rigs that are small and quiet, allowing us to drill in places many other rigs can not access. Despite their small size, our rigs are capable of drilling 4-inch holes to 500 feet at angles from 45° to 90° using air and mud-rotary with down hole hammer casing advance. We use the tremie pipe method to provide full bottom-to-top grouting of our boreholes for all types of grout. GeoTility Corp. can also provide cased well systems for any sized open loop applications.

Our drilling division is overseen by some of the most knowledgeable and experienced geothermal drillers in Western Canada . With over 25 years of experience, we have successfully drilled in just about every condition imaginable.

Our staff pride themselves on being able to install any sized ground loop efficiently and cost effectively in all geological conditions.

Reacting to increased demand, our Drilling and R&D departments have recently designed an electric/diesel hybrid drilling rig that will significantly reduce the downtime associated with large residential and commercial towers.
